Getting a Library Card is easy!
All you need to do is come into the library and bring with you a photo ID and a second item that shows proof of your name and River Forest address. (A utility bill is perfect!) Your card can be processed on the spot. Your card must be renewed every two years, and can be used in all Suburban Library System libraries, as well as Chicago Public Library and many other area libraries.
